I am Álvaro Fernández, I’m 23 years old from Barcelona. I am graduated in Nautical Engineering and Maritime Transport ( master yacht < 3.000 gt). I am also a professional diver, jetski instructor and flyboard instructor. As it is shown on my CV, I have worked during two summers in “Aventura Nàutica”, a nautical company involved in rental and charter boats, and also offered aquatic activities. Some of the different positions I have been involved in are deckhand mariner and captain assistant with the tender. Besides my seaman abilities, I also had developed office work and organization skills due to the daily organization work accomplished in the company. I have been working also in Mallorca in a Water Sports Center during the last summer. I could improve my Jet Ski, fly board and wakeboard abilities and my tender skills. I have been also working as a Deckhand in various yachts for chartering in Barcelona: – “Leigh” 88 ft. – “Dandy” 78 ft. Now I am working in a 164 ft old motor yacht named Menorca based in Greece as a deckhand for the refit, paint and varnishing in Perama's shipyard. I am an active person and willing to live new experiences. I have good work ethics, I like to pay attention to small details and work with a team of people. It is easy for me to learn new skills and I am eager to learn from others.
