Personal Statement

I am a positive and bubbly person seeking a Nurse/Stewardess role in permanent or seasonal work. I have skills in both hospitality and catrring and am a highly skilled Registered Nurse.  Over the past four years, I have enjoyed a versatile career within a hospital environment in New Zealand. I seek a Nurse/Stewardess position that will not only make use of my skills but also expand my experience abroad. My positive and bubbly nature allows me to work effectively within a team. Despite my lack of experience working on yachts, I am a quick and keen learner and believe that my diligent work ethic and attention for detail would be a positive attribute to your crew. I have also had several years experience in catering and understand the high standard required to ensure a enjoyable experience for all. Additionally, I have had several years experience as a registered nurse in critical and acute care which has given me the confidence to thrive in highly challenging environments. I have strong organisation and communication skills developed from working in a fast paced hospital environment. This experience has provided me with a solid foundation to adapt to unique challenges that may be encountered while working as a nurse or stewardess at sea. In my spare time I am a keen triathlon enthusiast and have recently competed in my fourth long distance triathlon (Ironman). This required dedication and determination and the ability to juggle work and life commitments. I believe these traits contribute positively to my work ethic and would compliment the efforts of your crew.
