Hello, my name is Dušan Doubrava, I´m from Czech Republic, 28 years old. I´m currently at New Zealand on Working Holiday Visa, which is valid until May of 2020. I´m now staying at Auckland and I would like to start a career at maritime industry. I´m very interested in becoming part of a crew on a sailing yacht, but I could also be a marina team member or at other positions related to boating life. I have experience with sailing on a sailing yachts from Adriatic Sea in Croatia. I have a Yacht-Master Certificate for operating pleasure yachts for up to 12 people, 16m in length and in area within 20NM from coast. I have also a Short Range Certificate for using a VHF radio with DSC. My working history is mainly in architecture office and in hospitality. I have a master´s degree from architecture at Czech Technical University at Prague from 2016, I worked at architecture office of architect Stanislav Fiala in Prague for last three years. Next to my studies and work I started sailing couple of years ago as a part of my hobbies, which I would like now to promote to the next level and get more experience as for future career in this industry. I can always help anywhere that is needed at the moment. I like being a part of a good team, but I can also work independently on the task given. I try always my best to do the job as good as it can be done at the specific time and situation. I like everything clean and in order.
