Personal Statement

To whom it may concern : Would you be so kind to find attached copy of my most up to date CV with list of Seagoing Experience and this covering letter. For your information I have in total almost 23 years of seagoing experience, with almost 10 of them serving as Chief Engineer on different types of vessels including Container, Ferry, Ro-Ro, Cruise / Passenger and Yachts sized from 50 to 110 meters. Prior to switching over onto Yachting Industry I used to sail with three major American Cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean ( RCCL ), Norwegian Cruise Line ( NCL ) and Disney Cruise Line ( DCL ) in positions as 2nd and 1st Engineer. These vessels were vary in size and Guests capacity with average number of the Guests per cruise at around 3000-3500 persons. After changing from Cruise ships into Yachting in 2007, I used to sail in capacity as Chief Engineer on different types of Yachts ( Private and Charter ) ranging from 50 meters up to 72 meters until 2009, when I got position as New Build Chief Engineer on PROJECT DARIUS, 110 meters LUERSSEN Built vessel which was re-named after completion and now is well known as Motor Yacht Radiant. Myself and my fiancé left MY Radiant in August, 2010 due to family reasons, but I was called up for two months stint job in 2011 season as Relief Chief Engineer in order to allow existing Chief Engineer to complete his expiring certificates. During 2014 I was employed by Estonian Government for Kara Sea Offshore project in capacity as 1st Engineer on board of Diesel Electric Multi-Purpose Offshore Vessel BOTNICA, where I was in charge of servicing and maintaining of 12 pcs Caterpillar 3512 Gen Sets and two of 5MW ABB Azipods. After completion of this project TS Shipping AS ( under management and control of Republic of Estonia ) temporary promoted me for position as Chief Engineer on board of MPSV BOTNICA in order to allow current crew to get their well-deserved leave time. Since march 2015 I’ve returned to Yachting while was working on board of 65 meter Private Owned FEADSHIP built yacht, managing team of three Engine crew members. As yacht Owners decided to change Rotational Contracts of Yacht’s officers to Full Time positions, I’ve left a boat on excellent terms gaining positive references from both Captains and Owner. My latest Motor Yacht was a famous charter MY Indian Empress, which I’ve left on late October, 2016 due to expiring STCW and Chief Engineer’s certificates, which I’ve successfully renewed in December,2016 and now all my paperwork is valid until November,2021. Medical ENG1 is valid until May, 2018. B1/B2 US Visa is valid until October, 2019. For your information I’m available asap and located in Northern Europe.
