Experience

M/Y Euphoria

The level of service and housekeeping onboard was extremely high and the boat was always kept immaculate. I pride myself on keeping the impecably high standards going even when alone in the interior, on longer trips I would train up another stewardess to assist me. The guests really enjoyed my cocktails, platters and attention to detail as they are from a design background they appreciated all the extra effort I put in.

M/Y Queen of Sheba

I was able to use my years of experience to teach and assist the Stewardess in providing the best possible service. I got involved in all areas of cleaning, laundry and service. I was able to adapt to a new area very quickly and efficiently (Sweden). I tried to encourage and lift the crew members as much as possible. My duties included: Ordering crew uniforms, inventories, provisioning, crew duties lists, stowing, setting up for dock parties at the owners villa, informing the security team of guest movements, liasing with the CEO and chef of the conference centre, communicating with guests and making arrangements.

M/Y KYRENIA

My role was primarily onboard Kyrenia but during most guest trips I would follow my guests over to our sister yacht Debs Delight a 30m M/Y. I would spend each evening working with another stewardess and chef to provide seamless service for up to 24 guests. I have gained a wealth of knowledge across the two yachts and been able to pass on my knowledge and experience to the new crew who joined last year where I assisted in training. I worked well in both teams and dealt with any issues that arised because of the unusual situation of working across two yachts with ease. My duties included: provisioning, breakfast, lunch and dinner service, cocktail making, making my own gin infusions, housekeeping, laundry, organising guest outings, overseeing contractors and dayworkers, accounts, keeping inventories, detailing, flower arranging, table decorations, party planning and designing menu cards.

M/Y MEME

I was the sole stewardess on this 24m M/Y, we had a busy charter season. My role required me to work off of my own initiative and use my experience from the previous two years to provide top quality service without the assistance of another stewardess.

Yellowstone Ski Lodge

This winter I have worked at an 8 bedroom 5* chalet in the french Alps that sleeps up to 24 guests. The routine has been very much the same as on a yacht. My duties have included: Service of breakfast, afternoon tea, champagne, canapes, cocktails and dinner, housekeeping, laundry, driving guests to other resorts.

M/Y Andinoria

My role on M/Y Andinoria (33m San Lorenzo) was both stewardess and deckhand. The chief stewardess and myself worked on a daily rotational basis between laundry/ housekeeping and service. My duties included: Silver service which consisted of a three course lunch and dinner, housekeeping, laundry, stain treatment, stock control, arranging meal times and plans, cocktail making, table decoration, napkin folding, flower arranging. My duties as a deckhand included: A ship yard period of 3 weeks my tasks were to clean the anchor locker, varnish interior floors, paint the anchor chain, polish anchor plate, seal the props with prop gold, strip cap rails. My duties after the yard period were: mooring (bow), general maintenence and cleaning of the exterior, 2 part deck cleaning, sanding and Semco-ing the cap rail, Semco-ing the decks, polishing, dropping and lifting the anchor, night watches, assisting the engineer with his duties, cooking crew meals when the chef was working at the owners home.
